Ibiza - Money Issue

Ibiza - Money Issue
My Daughters off to Ibiza for the first time with some mates.
What's the best to reccomend money wise?
1. Use ATM when there.. assuming they have standard cashpoints that accept UK cards (she has Electron)
2. Take a mixture of cash (Euro's) & eurocheques (£370 ish)? Hoping the the hotel can keep it safe when locked up.
3. Euro cheques all the way?
Must be some clubbers on here?

Mixture of all three.
Although I tend not to bother with travellers cheques these days, as I don't think they are anymore secure than cash.
2 cards minimum and two wallets, some cash in both, 1 card in each. Both kept in separate places. Only go out with the amount of cash you need for that night/day.

I did £650 in a week over there last year. When your paying £20+ to get in clubs and £5+ a drink the money doesn't go far. A 330ml bottle of San Meg in Space last year was €8!!

very expensive. I did £800 in one week.
as mentioned above don't put all your eggs in one basket so to speak. I took a mixture of cash, travellers cheques and the credit card. Most hotels will have safe boxes you can rent for the week.
The only problem I encountered was our hotel only cash travellers cheques between certain hours. We once tried to do it at 10pm and were refused.

What the others have said really, i take about 300 Euros in cash, then about the same in trav cheques that i wait until the end of the holiday to use (emergency money until then), then use my card too in between. I dont think the ATM's will take Electron.
Clubs are a rip off, as are drinks in clubs. Tell her to buy booze in supermarkets b4 she goes out (cheap as).

When I was in Belguim the other day I had a nightmare finding cash. Not many of the restaurants wanted to take my mastercard for some reason. I tried 4 cash points with my mastercard and it said I had the wrong pin number (I know for a fact it was correct). Then found one last cash point and it worked, but charged me about £5 for the honour. Next time I'll be taking atleast 300 euro's with me.

In San An theres Barclays cashpoints at the end of the strip and by the egg, so they might accept electron.
If she is based nearer Ibiza town then its the usual Euro ATM's IIRC

You're asking me to remember Ibiza nights from more than ten years ago?? We mostly went to Pascha, Space, Amnesia, Es Paradis, Cafe del Mar, Bora Bora Bar (on the beach under the flightpath of the airport at Playa Den Bossa - cool ), can't forget the Disco Bus either There's other pre-clubbing bars we hung out in too but I can't remember them all, some were in San An and some in Ibiza Town. It was a long time ago

Dr Hu.. Thanks for the tip (I think) but I cannot condone such disgusting behaviour for my litle girl.. The wife would kill me!

The ATM machines in both Cyprus and Portugal took my Electron card so I could get cash out so I can't see Ibiza being any different.

She may just as well take 30 tabs and a few grammes with her, at least that way it cuts out the middle man
Deffo Space, Ministry, Pacha, Amnesia, Es Paradis, Clockwork Orange (if its there) and of course Manumission (?sp)
Cafe Del Mar as well.
If she's just after a **** then the West End
