Question Torque conversion.

Does anyone know how much 45 ftlbs of torque is in Nms? Or how I can find out?

Thanks.

UB
ft/lbs * 1.35 = Nm
or
Nm * 0.74 = ft/lbs

From http://www.onlineconversion.com/torque.htm

1 foot pound-force = 1.355818 newton meter
Therefore:
45 foot pound-force = 61.0118078 newton meter

I got 60.975

by dividing 281/200 then multiplying by 45.0

So we are all pretty much agreed then at about 61Nm

cool cheers.
