Missed them all in Hertfordshire so far No fun - I do like a good thunderstorm.
Think we might catch this one though.

Damp Squib, won't come to anything more than a few drops of rain for some, might get some wind, oh, and some leaves will fall off and the whole rail network will shut down Monday morning.

Wouldn't bother with MetCheck either, reading that stuff will rot your brain.

Cheers

Ian

Lightning struck last night at about 300 meters from my door.

Big fire. No one hurt though.

It even tripped our GFI (or is that US speak ?)

Thanks but no thanks - although it's so hot now I'd probably welcome a serious cloudbuster...

Met Office put warnings when it is going to drizzle. Met Check tends to then put out the same warning but wth some psuedo science wording to make them sound more knowledgeable/sexy (I know the person responsible for MetCheck, rearrange these words: lacking, basic, meteorological, knowledge).

My seaweed says it will not be anywhere near as bad as MetCheck, Met Office etc. said it would be. But who do you believe ?

Cheers
