Whats the cost of Import duty/taxes shipping from USA to UK

VAT is 17.5%, but duty depends on the commodity. Don't know about the separate insurance, but the declared value can be whatever you like, although it is a criminal offence to knowingly make a false declaration

All export freight is x-rayed, anything sus will be opened

if u declare it a t $20 and its get busted all u can claim is $20
