Farewell pressie
A really good mate of mine's off to Austrailia (sp) next month with his new wife.
He's been a really really top bloke for the 10 years I've known him, and I was thinking of getting him a farewell present.
He's a guitarist, and he's really into Hendrix and Stratocasters, so I was wondering if anyone had seen anything unique that might be a good gift. Nothing ott, just something memorable because he's taught me sh**loads about guitars, and guitar playing and I just wanted to say thank you.
His wife's from Leeds and I was after something for her. She's a bit daft so the weirder the better, but with some connection to that part of England.

www.ukguitars.com sell scale modal gutiars for about £25, I havn't looked for a while but I'm sure they would have a strat. I's the strats 50th aniversery(sp?) this year so the may be something on fenders web site celebrating the fact
