Default Advice needed - Winter work

I'm thinking of leaving my job for a few months in the winter to go and work in a ski resort for a season.

Can anybody offer my any advice of things they would and wouldnt do.
How can I increase my chances of getting a job out there. What are my chances of getting a job ? I'm quite well educated and have got a good employment record ?

I have applied for alot of jobs on the net. And sent details to agencies etc.

Any advice is greatly appreciated

WD

A mate of mine did something very similar and has just recently returned.

He went to a resort in Canada, the name of which escapes me. What he did was apply online and spoke to the resort manager/HR equivalent over there so he had a good idea of what it was going to be like when he got over.

He had a great time.
