Anyone had any experiences with this alarm? Only mine the fobs don't work (new batts) and I have to use the keypad twice 1st time it locks you in!! 2nd time it unlocks and allows the car to start. Please someone give me a clue????

Could be that the new batts are from a bad batch.. might be worth buying another set? If mine doesnt go off, I put the remote to my head, press the fob, and bingo - works like a treat I wonder why it does that? Electricity from my brain?

I had one in my supra. Now have an 02 STi which looks like the same unit. The key fobs don't work near electrical generators or masts. It was normal for me (as I learned pretty quick !!!) to have to lock with the key pad then unlock. Pain in the ****, but worked fine.

Hope that is of use. I know where to avoid now, so haven't had any problems with my Impreza as don't go near the local bad spots.
