Default Annoying black insect things everywhere!

Has anyone else noticed those daft little insects that seem to have started appearing everywhere?

I went out for lunch and there were about 20 of the damned things on my shirt within 5 minutes, and now I've had my office windows open and the little critters are getting on my monitor and onto my desk! they are about 2 mm long and dead thin, and they just walk around slowly and crawl over stuff, really p!ssing me off, I keep thinking they're on my head, which they probably are...

AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH H!!!!

Is it me??

Big time, I just keep thinking they're going to get into my dates or apples, I've probably eaten loads of the buggers already unknowingly!

I think I know what you mean. Do they have tiny elongated bodies and seem very flat? If so I think they are a species of rove beetle.

ARGH!

Those sodding things.... I made the mistake of leaving the office window open with the light on, on Monday night.

By the time I realised my mistake the ceiling was COVERED with the little gits.

In the end I got the hoover out and sucked the buggers up!

I was working in Verona last year and left the lights on and the window open whilst I went out at night, when I got back there were literally hundreds of the things round the light.

Got the aerosol out and a match on the go, and they 'dropped like flies' - pun intended (i thank you)

You guys have it easy. Try living with the little midge b%st%rds up here. Every time the sun goes in (99%) or it rains (99%) they're out biting at you for all they're worth. Good fun to see the tourists scratching away furiously and running about.
Only two things work to stop them biting
1. Avon Skin so Soft
2. Golden Syrup where you end up with a face like a fly cemetery(borrowed from Para Handy)
