basically iv got a visa electron debit card i wanna purchase some things of the net my card has visa electron icon on it, but the site where i want to buy from just has Visa, mastercard & Switch icon

does my card come under the Visa category or does any 1 know is Visa electron cards can be used to buy things off the net

Actually No.

Technically Visa Electron are not allowed to be used for 'cardholder not present' transactions.

Having said that some sites let you put it through their electronic checkout system and will still process it regardless even though they are not actually supposed to do so
