Harry have you got the "Essex Matters" and "policing Essex" thru you door. one has a very interesting article about how 84% of Essex drivers support speed camera's and the other has a survey for the council about where to spend money on speed reduction with 3 options including more speed camera's sorry safety camera's! or more road humps!

we will all be glad to know they only issued 85,000 approx speeding tickets in essex last year but still proudly tell us that the clear up rate for vehicle crime is 10.3% (been good this year as some people in prison have confessed to extra crimes to be taken into consideration) and burglary clear up is 17%.

forgets to mention road deaths up by 30%.

it does supply e-mail addresses for positive feed back though!

Where is the new Essex camera chaps - I'm often over the water but haven't spotted anything un-toward (normally use M25/A27 and sometimes A12/A13)?
