Don't play with matches
This was the focus do it all near me in woking until it burned to the ground saturday night
The last picture worries me as you can imagine how near to collapse the building is, those putting the flames out would be in a lot of danger, arson is the suspected cause at the moment, also smoke damaged all the stock in the unit next door.

Well, I did tell the manager I'd make sure he was out of a job due to his pish poor skills at customer satisfaction.
All joking aside, it is somewhat shocking how easilly commercial buildings to catch on fire. Agree about the risk to firefighters.

I work right next to the retail park and this is not really surprising albeit very nasty. After work I usually pop into one of the shops and there are allways "locals" hanging around. The "locals" seem to like setting fire to the bins located along the frontages of all the units so this is why I said its not really surprising.
It's a bit of a hot spot for "locals" to congregate and IMO they have just gone to the next level and its gone horribly wrong.
FFS Woking Police HQ is only down the road along with Woking Fire Station so why dont they visit the site every once in a while and they will see for themselves the extent of the congregating "locals".

Daz is spot on, these types of building are designed to collapse in on themselves in a fire. And this would definitely come under the description of "defensive" firefighting i.e. benefits of fire crews fighting the fire from inside are well outweighed by the risks involved in doing so.
Means longer spent on the fireground but, hey, its not as if they would be getting cold now is it?!?!?
