New sat nav...
Just bought a Tomtom Go, its a fully portable sat nav device, seems absolutely ace. I can recommend it....... no more getting lost, but I suppose I need to go places now so I can use it!

I'm interested on one of those as well. Mrs. Ricardo needs it really, so whatever we get will go in her car, although I might borrow it...
Although there's a lot of competition within the PDA-based ones (the Medion is now £349 in Halfords) but it seems like they have too many wires to me. The new Tom Tom Go doesn't even really need to be plugged in - the battery lasts 5 hours or so. Looks pretty neat IMHO.
My only concern is whether there is downloadable POI stuff for it (like 'safety cameras' of course). Not bothered about not having the PDA part, or not being able to use it for MP3s.
RRP looks like £499. I've seen it online for £425 http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=TOMTOMGO
