Help! LRC100 owners
Fitted this a couple of months back and everything seemed ok except i couldn't test it. On tuesday i was "zapped" and it went of as expected, except now it has developed a high pitched screech! Checked all my wiring today and resoldered all the connections and it seems to be even worse unfortunately. Anybody have any ideas what to try next? The lrc still starts as normal eg 5-10 seconds then 2 beeps but just this appalling screech is always there. Could the item develop a fault when it was tested for the first time or has anybody had a similair incident? Thanks for all replies.

update: led is also faintly on so must be a breakdown occurring somewhere. Anybody with an lrc100 able to take a few resistances from the din plug near the jammer to see where its occuring so i can compare my own results? Thanks.

Wondered anybody could do me a small favour and take a couple of resistances from an lrc100 (the jammer part, 4 pins) if the block is at the bottom and pin 1 is bottom left, top left 2, 3 top right, 4 bottom right and 5 is the metal circle edge that goes around all the pins making up the plug. Could you measure the resistance between 2+3, 3+4, 3+5, 4+5. Doesn't have to be too accurate only high or low resistance i think although if you get values all the better.
I'll buy the first person do get this a pint!!!
p.s. if you put a bit of insulation/ tape etc its a lot easier to get the readings. Cheers scott.
