Origin B2 - Feedback Please
I've been using a Snooper S5 for he past 2 years but I'm
considering updating with an origin B2 (£359 ebay).
a) Does anyone have any feedback on this unit please ?
b) Does anyone know if it covers the new cats eyes cameras?
any one know when the radar detecion unit will be avalable for
this unit?
c) I notice it doesn't have a standard radar detector... Has anybody
received a ticket from mobile radar recently or are all mobile units
now using laser ?
d) I'm reluctant to give up radar detection complety until I feel it's safe
to do so. Any feed back appreciated.
e) I notice that Snooper have a GPS/radar/laser unti, the Snooper S6-Neo GPS, (£369, Ebay), anybody using one of these?
Any feedback advice appreciated.

Laser detection is included with the B2 but usually only tells you that you've just been zapped. For full coverage you need an LRC100 garage door opener, i think Jaycee can supply these also.

It works on GPS so it know the location of them rather than detecting them.
Unless I am mistaken none of the UK police forces are now using K, Ka, Ku, X band radar (I am prepared to be corrected on this one). the only thing you will detect now with them is supermarket doors and *nothing*
They now use laser, which the B2 will detect, although by the time it has it will probably be too late. The LRC100 will interface directly with the B2 to jam laser.
The B2 is without a doubt the best on the market although the new RoadAngel is catching up slowly.
But...... you know all that already 'cos I told you the other week

Tempted to get an Origin B2 now.
Was looking at Road Angel, but now see its branded as Original/classic Road Angel, as there is a new one out that you can only get a max of three years subscription too, as opposed to the lifetime subscription on the classic.
Does the Origin B2 require any subscription payment, and if so, whats the cost breakdown?
Cheers

Make sure you buy from an authorised Origin dealer as otherwise there isn't a warranty.
