Default Road Angel

are the above any good? i've tried a few radar detectors in the past and never found any of them any good due to false alarms and late warnings on cameras that you could see yourself, has anyone tried the road angel and if yes can you give me any positive info on them?

Get one you wont regret it. No false alarms/late warnings and the new one looks quite nice. Also have a look at the Origin B2, equally good for about the same price.

Highly recommended - When I had mine, it didn't miss a single camera. Very accurate and well worth it. I only changed mine when I bought a sat nav system for the car, which allows you to overlay speed camera positions onto the map. This is pretty accurate, but still needs a bit of fine tuning. Road Angel or Origin are well worth considering if you haven't got sat nav.

thanks for the info men, think i'll invest in one then but i just wanted to check before i parted with nearly £400 to find it was just as useless as the ones i'd tried in the past.

there are a few of the older versions of Road Angel about in the for sale section so you might be able to pick up a bargain.

That is a good price. Just a thought - I paid £350 all in for my sat nav system, which does allow speed camera overlays. OK - you don't have the laser protection, but it is not a bad compromise.

Its the best money I've spent. It never misses a camera, haven't found out about the lasers yet though!

I've got a PDA with TomTom 3 as well, with the speed camera overlay - not a patch - I wouldn't trust it

Road Angel all the way for me
