You can buy dvd players from about £30 nowadays, but they are generally all silver.

My hi fi seperates are black.
My vcr is black
I hunted high and low and eventually found a decent black widescreen telly for a reasonable price.

My cheap dvd player is silver and looks totally out of place.
It has also developed an annoying wee fault so its maybe time to replace it, but I really, really want a black one.

Anyone know where I can get a black one cheaply?

I'm not helping much in the way of cheapness...but it maybe a good excuse to get one

Years ago I thought a PS1 would be a great idea. played it non-stop for about 4 days, then got bored with it and ended up giving it to my neice.
I considered a PS2, but im pretty sure the same thing would happen all over again!

I think ALi-B was suggesting getting a black PS2 to use as a DVD player, and not for its games capability.....

yeah, but they arent too cheap and thats a bit of a waste of its potential.

How much is cheap? you can get a Pioneer that's black, will play just about anything too for about £100 (maybe even £80 these days).
