U.S hostage beheaded
It just goes on and on. And the US claim that terrorism gets less frequent as time goes on. There were 41 killed yesterday in Iraq and its now old news. A few years ago this would have dominated the headlines for days.

Knew this was going to happen 3 days ago when the deadline was set the Saudis quite rightly were not going to give into the demands of releasing terrorists so there was only going to be one outcome, another Nick Berg type murder
Absolute animals and I hope they catch up with them eventually and they face Saudi capital punishment and a good kicking before they get executed

I get really torn on what do over cases like this Part of me thinks we really, really don't want to start down the slippery slope of behaving like the terrorists, and the other thinks we should up the ante beyond what the terrorists can cope with. I don't know what I'd do if it was my call
Perhaps, when the terrorists announced they had the guy hostage and delivered their demands, the Saudis should have countered with a demand that they deliver the Lockheed guy unharmed to a Police station within 24hrs, or they'd execute all the prisoners the terrorists wanted releasing. And a few more for good measure.

Very suspect that they found them now. They couldn't find them for days, then as soon as the guys dead they know where they are? Please...
The Saudi government has been trying to sit on the fence between the terrorists and the West for too long. I think that's what has happened here, the terrorists got to kill their Westerner (so they're sort of placated) and the West got some dead evildoers (so they're sort of placated). And the Saudi government hasn't pissed either side off too much so gets to live another day.

I feel desperately sorry for the poor guy but as B2Z said, the eventual outcome was pretty obvious. The kidnappers have no respect for life.
I heard that they were caught trying to dispose of the body and were all shot so that is one minor victory anyway.

Back to 9/11 they where all Saudi's Osma Bin's a Saudi so what makes you think they are different. They have the money so stand aside. And regarding the be-heading the prisoners that were requested to be freed should be took out side and be-headed, 1 life for all theirs that would show that demands are not made with threats. But as I said they are Saudi's and have the money.
