A thought about the Ford Rally Team... from a local...
I pass M Sport everyday, and only just realised something -
just about everyone in the place wear's some sort of ford clothing, although I can never remember seeing any one of them actually driving a ford. I pass at "hometime" daily and the junction always seem to be full of Rover's or BMW's...
You'd think with the amount of Focus parts that would be kicking about the place would be heaving with them...

yes - but not your usual tour.
I worked for the Architects responsible for the conversion from the old hospital - so been round a few times (I also designed the gatehouse )
Anyway, after works were complete, MSport wanted a full set of "As Built" plans of the whole place for their records, and because there's usually discrepancies between what was designed and what was actually built, we had to go round and mark up all the differences - a full day job. So we knew our way around, but a bloke from Cosworth showed us everything and how the cars start from scratch - I suspect it's the same tour you can go on now - only nowhere was off limits for us.
Funnily enough - when we did this, all the cars were away in New Zealand, and the only car in the workshops had "Solberg" in the window...
