camera vans-how many camera's do they have and what direction

just going out of rugeley-going towards a van (might have been due to inaccuraccy of speedo a tad over 30) but soon as i saw van was a camera van i slammed on brakes-do they only point the camera out of back of van or does one also point out thro front windscreen-if it only points thro back doors im ok-if its out of front windscreen im boll**ked-i need an answer please
