Just looking for recommendations on portable navigation devices that can be moved from car to car, something like this http://www.globalpositioningsystems....roduct_id=2278 never seen or used anything like this so any advise would be great.

Also is it possible to buy one with speed camera warning combined ?

I found PocketGPS really helpful. They have reviews on all the up to date GPS systems.

I bought the Medion Pocket PC with GPS all i can say is for £280.00 WOW!

If you get a PDA based one, something like TomTom that supports points of interest then you can download a list of the speed cameras. You then install something like CheckPoint and this will give you advanced warning of the POI's of the types you choose: Cameras, Shell Optimax stations etc etc

........and yes you can download the gatso sites to overlay over the map

I also put Subaru garages, Optimax feeding stations, Maccy D's and KFC's on for the Kids
