Default Halfords - PDA GPS (Bargain)

Hi Folks just a quickie i just got a Median PDA from halfors with GPS Navigation, have uploaded 4000 speed cams into also via PIO Warner and have to say im gob-smacked , the naviagion software is really upto date and imho is far better than TOM TOM , there's lots of PIO (Piont Of Interests) to load into it and ive uploaded hundres's of shell garages into it so now it warms me way b4 shell garage to fill up with optimax , for £399 its a real bargain imo and its a real good MP3 player as well.

Just thought id let u peep know my experiance.

If you do a thread search you will find that LIDL sold this a lot cheaper and people were going to Halfords to get a price match.

Charming - the guy tells us he got something he is impressed with and wants to share it with us - and the first post is to tell him he's spent too much money. Nice one.

the ALDI version was for a PC200 not the PC250 and allthough some managed to price match it does not really bother me paying the extra, we all like to save money but i still think its a realy all in 1 bargain. as i say ive tried the TOM TOM and dont think its a good as the Navigon software that comes with the Halfords Kit (Horses for Corses i guess) , Aslo the software that come with the ALDI Kit is older software and inferior.

The latest version from Aldi was the PC250, identical to what Halfords were selling - only £270 Got one sitting in front of me.

However, I've since upgraded to an 2210 Ipaq and Tom Tom 3, I think both software have pluses and minuses, but the Tom Tom is easier to use from the cradle in car and has a better viewable display IMHO.

Not that the Medion one isn't cracking - coz it is! my dad's having that!

£129 saving is worth passing on to fellow scoobynetters, I was not trying to rain on his parade. If everyone rushed out and bought it for £399 and then found out everyone on scoobynet was buying the exact same model for £270 youd be a tad pissed off.

Thats interesting - I asked about this a few weeks ago and nobody commented. What do Halfrauds ask for 4 a price match ?

OllyK passes ************** his white stick and guides him gently back to the link provided, points at the Points Of Interest at the left hand side and suggests that he scrolls to the UK section and then looks for "Shell" or tries a CTRL F, should find them near the bottom of the page - 2 different links.
