Default Removing dead flies

Does anyone know how to completly remove dead flies from the front of a car?

I have spent a good half an hour soaking them off with hot soppy water, but when the car drys there are still marks on the front bumper, (the car is a black Smart Car)

Is there any products which will remove the stains?

Thanks in advance

Halfrauds used to to a Fly / Tar Spot remover - that was very good, dunno if they still do it. Otherwise a little T-cut or similar will do the job, downside is you don't want to do that too often

Unfortunately, you may have already damaged your paintwork. Try Swissol cleanser or clay bar.

Everyday I get home in the summer, wifey opens the garage doors & hangs out a wet cotton towel. I use the towel to simply wipe off the flies from the front, lights, windscreen & door mirrors. It only takes about 30 secs to do, then I rub a damp chamois over the bits I've wiped - another 30 secs. It keeps the car looking clean & saves a lot of work getting them off on Sunday wash day. Thanks to Mark Wax Wizard for that tip.

yeah regular washing is the key
mines done every 2 days now the weathers better, unless it gets a major splatter attack on the way home from work

OOOooohh, can I???, please, please,please????

it's a smart car so just get an Anglegrinder and a 80 grit flapper wheel (be careful not to push too hard as u may damage or clog the flapper wheel)

Got that off my chest

Had same prob on my smart car ... Smart dealers sell cleaning kits and used to do a cleaner which removed them!(but i am talking 4 years ago when i had mine) it all depends on wether they are on the panels or the tridion cell. If you get no luck why not register with http://www.thesmartclub.co.uk They are a friendly bunch and will be able to tell you how to remove them!
