Good thing we jump when the Americans ask, eh?
Hamza is probably guilty of all sorts of things, but it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth that we have to use a back-door route to deal with him.

I totally agree, he should have been deported to Yemen the second he set foot here but the Government are too spineless to stand up to the pc brigade/lawyers who support his claim for asylum
I still can't understand why he was never targetted by certain groups in the UK, not that I support or agree with those groups in any way but would have turned a blind eye in the case of Hamza.
Oh and I hope they send him to Guantanamo Bay and give him a right royal kicking

Bravo, I think the reasons why "certain groups" left him alone would be along the lines of. Leave him to say what he wants, he's a great propaganda tool for these groups because everybody hates him and the less open minded amongst us would assume that all Muslims are the same. Which they are not.

Great news that the ******* is getting deported
Shocking that this government basically did almost nothing with him however, and that action is only really being taken thanks to the Americans.

Not a done deal by the looks of it though The UK don't forget has a policy where they will not extradite anyone to a country where they could face the death penalty. Today the officials in the states have said the charges Hamza is faced with carry the death penalty if found guilty. Fekers! Why couldn't they wait till we had stuck him on a plane first before coming out with that
He better go or that will just about sum up the Government - oh no better not send him cos the US are going to kill him, lets keep him here so he can continue to plot to kill us instead
Oh and Turbo nothing worong with the Daily Mail old chap

He is Egyptian born Mungo. However he was involved with some very dodgey dealings/terrorism in Yemen including kidnap and murder and the Yemeni authorities have been wanting him to return for a very long time. We have no extradtition treaty with Yemen so he has been safe staying in the UK. If he was returned to Yemen he would be charged and if found guilty he would face the death penalty there which is why he has gone out of his way to stay in the UK claiming every benefit and exploiting every loophole available using legal aid to avoid having to leave the country. Also because he would face the death penalty again Britian would not return him just on that basis as our wonderful Govenernment doesn't believe in capital punishment
He is murderous scum who has links with Al Quaeda and needs to be dealt with accordingly. To have let him reside in Britain has been a disgrace to say the very least. The British Government have effectively been harbouring a terrorist by letting him stay, a crime with which other countries are dealt with far harsher.
The only valid reason for letting him stay is to use him as a source of intelligence gathering which I would imagine is/has been pretty fruitless. Hence he is now being dealt this new blow as his worth has been exhausted so time to deal with him directly.

Apparently, he still faces possible death sentence, but UK (because of EU law) will not allow US to carry out the punishment.....shame, although he still can be deported.
Goodbye hook man, may you have your martydom thingy, accidentaly die in prison and **** 1000 blind virgins.......fool.

It would have been better to get him extradited cleanly and banged him up for life rather than risk a long and tortured extradition process which might yet fail !

I think this shows what a soft touch our country is in the eyes of terrorists. He was wanted by Yemen on terrorism charges, including the murder of 4 tourists of which 3 were British, yet he still considered it safe to come to Britain. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Imagine how many people he's managed to convert to his way of thinking during his time here.

There is no extradition treaty between the UK and Yemen, that's the only reason why he wasn't deported there. A better question is why is there no extradition treaty ? What is the justice system in Yemen like ?
