We use them pretty reguarly, to answer, 'its as long as a piece of string' they are very hit & miss, both for Uk and overseas deliveries, mind you so are most of them, the only real services are the high priority ones offered by DHL, Fedex etc, which cost many times more.

Royal Mail Standard Parcel service takes 3 to 5 working days to deliver.
This is not a guaranteed service, so sometimes it can take longer.
I recently posted something to Scotland using Standard Parcel Service and it took 3 working days to arrive.

I was going to use parcel2go but I was at a meeting the day that I wanted it picked up so I had to take it to the post office instead in hindsight it'd have still turned up earlier if I'd posted it via pacel2go a day later
I'm sending something else today but I'm using parcel2go. It'll be interesting to see when that turns up.

As posted a week or two ago, Parcel Farce have a 100% non-delivery record to my pad.
Securicor also failed to deliver my oil from Goode's on an overnighter last week.
Yet again another delivery refund. This internet buying is a cheap way of buying anything.
You order something from maybe the other side of the country that would cost a fair bit to pick up in fuel, you pay delivery, it never turns up, you go to your local depot, (whilst on the way shopping) to pick it up, you get a delivery refund!!
Sorted.
