is this ebay item dodgy ?
Ive been looking at a few bikes on ebay

The picture and specs are lifted straight of the konaworld site. Ive emailed the seller and had no response. The seller has a zero rating and registered on the day this advert was put online.
The only thing that is puzzling me is the only payment listed is paypal, I thought dodgy auctions were all money transfers ect ?.
How much protection does paypal give you, I would prefer to collect the bike and pay cash but if the guy isnt responding to emails now what happens at the end of the auction ?.

It looks okay, BUT it looks like one of the bikes from the Shopping Channel that a friend of mine bought with the idea of selling it for profit.
Result: Two mountain bikes in his garage for just over a year!

Do what i do, and tell them that u haven't enough credit with PP and you are waiting for the 3 or 4 digit code so u can up ur amount, then ask seller for name, addy landland line / mobile number.

The Kona cindercone is a pretty good bike, and most of the online shops sell it for 650 - 700, I very much doubt it was on the shopping channel.
Will bid and take it from there, may not even win it. Thanks for the comments.
