Default Ideas for 2nd anniversary Present - Cotton

Ok, it's my wedding anniversary this weekend and I like to do the traditional bit by buying 'er indoors something which relates to each year of marraige. I think year 2 is cotton but may stand corrected...?

So.....anyone got any original ideas what to buy my young(ish) wife which is:

a/ something to do with cotton
b/ fairly romantic and which gets me serious beer vouchers
c/ cheap, but looks expensive ?

All original ideas very much appreciated.

Russ

P.S any ideas what year 3 is so I can start planning in advance?

Cool

What about this site, Russ?

Go to 'Gifts for Her' and it's on page 3 in the bottom right hand corner.

No.3 is leather - should be interesting

Congratulations by the way.

Cheers Matt - that's given me a possible slight idea....However, I'm too flustered about leather/year 3 now....

Personalised cotton tea towel.

And of course YOU must not use it as your name isn't on it.

Here's a lateral thought, if you know of something she would really like, but it isn't cotton, then put it in a big box stuffed full of cotton wool. Should be worth a few beer vouchers.

Nice one Carl - I'll browse that one in a sec but a few possibilities on there already.

Brit-in-Japan, our minds must be working the same way as that was the thought I came up with yesterday after seeing Jimmy Dell's suggestion and is probably the one I'll most likely run with at the moment as I have a great idea for a 'non cotton' purchase which would work in a box of cotton wool quite well...

Spufus, I think you've missed the point mate, I'm after something 'original' and 'romantic'....in COTTON! Trust me, it's not as easy to come up with something as you think. Mind you, I'm looking forward to the leather present for year 3....

Pretend you thought it was your 3rd anniversary and buy her something leather instead.

That's what *i'd* do...
