Wink Driving offences/advanced driving courses

Just wondered if anyone here has been on the one and a half days advanced driver training course provided by the police in place of a licencse points/fine or any other road traffic violation Is it worth doing or is it just a 148 quid rip off?

Any suggestion welcome

Thankyou

Jono

My dad went on one after a crash, and he seemed to enjoy it. It was held on the friday and saturday so it was about 1 1/2 days.

If I had the option between points and going to a driving class...I know what I'd take

Kyl3
yeh i see your reasoning but its the future implications of doing the course im worried about. Apparently its logged with the dvla for 3 years and if you have another violation within that time the 1st violation will be held against you making matters worse. I guess though that if i go to court it will still be logged
