Got a pair of callipers that I'm selling and the guy who wants them lives 250 miles away so wants them posted to him

They are similar size to UK turbo scoob callipers so what would it cost to post them?

I think most 'couriers' go on size of the parcel rather than weight, www.parcels2go.co.uk took a pc and loads of components in a huge box from kent to derby next day for £8.99 + vat when i used them a few weeks ago.

yeah you book it online, put in the dimensions of the box you are sending, the website creates the label for you to print on the box - only snag is they will only give a 9-5.30 window for when they are coming to pick it up

Sounds good to me Did they quote a price too? I need to get a price to give the guy an idea.

All pricing is on www.parcels2go.co.uk, best thing to do is box the items up, measure the box and put it into their website - as far as i remember next day non guaranteed (think they had about a 92% success rate for this one) was 8.99+vat or next day guaranteed before 10am was £17 + vat

i sent some vauxhall calipers last week....

recorded delivery was 24 quid.....
Sent unrecorded it was 9 quid something...
That was with parcel farce/royal mail.

Quality I thought it'd cost loads to send something that weight.

Sent the calipers via parcel2go and they turned up on time better than my recent experience with parcel force.

Most couriers weight limit is around 30-35kg in one box, though you can send more than that weight as long as its in seperate packages/same consignment. I just sent some UK spec Supra callipers and disks. Cost £30 all in (36kg) , booked in at 12:00, collected at 2, about to be delivered today.

And it was Parcel Force Quite impressed considering the past!

I'll never use Parcel force again after they took 2 1/2 weeks to deliver a parcel that just turned up today.
