Wow. They seem to have a much bigger budget for this series, and a heavywieght directer to shoot and edit the features. Fantastic viewing.

Thank the lord for top gear.

Today I learnt that an Aston Martin DB9 at over 100k is a good car and that a Cityrover at 6.5k is not a good car - oh and that if we ever go to war I should buy a black go-cart and pray an enemy helicopter pilot is only familiar with a missle locking device...

Ohh so you want top gear to be the same as another programme. How about we have the programme for muppets to decide which car they want to buy showing tedious reports of ford focuses etc.

and then turn the interesting funny programme which has decent features, shows cars we can dream about and turn it into another 5th gear.

Glad top gear are being differnt and ecxciting rather then the other tedious ****e

Anyone thought about trying to work out how fast the DB9 must have been travelling versus the train journeys to win? I know there are multiple variables to take into account etc...

Well the speedo was well up in 3 figures in some of those shots. I don't think he was hanging about Lovely car. Good to see the series back. If all motoring programs were like 5th Gear, then God help us.
