Default Ant Infestation.

Ants. They've taken over the asylum here. Any good ideas how to get rid of them efficiently and quickly as I need to get rid of them this weekend but I can't find where they're coming from.

Any help out there?

Don't tread on an ant, he's done nothing to you. Unplug the juke box..

I've always found Ant Powder very effective indoors and out.

*Always read the label.

Should be easy to follow a trail to where they are coming from.

I use ant powder and put a bit down at the entrance/exit and that solves any problem I've had pretty rapidly.

You really need to find out where they are coming from in order to do any meaningful damage to their population! Ant traps are well and good, but they don't stop other ants following the pheromone trails in to your house, you need to get to the nest!

What are the precise circumstances of your formic infestation?

You try stopping the fúcker from barking though when it's hungry.

This is the problem. I've found one of their nests in the polythene sack containing the Strawberries but the other mob coming into the house are more elusive.

Any particular brand of ant powder or are they much of a muchness?

All pretty much the same, I think the active ingredient is sodium fluoride, so the more of that they have in the better!

Edited to add: looking at some I have here it may have permethrin or boric acid as the active ingredient. Just buy whatever has the most of the whatever the active ingredient is and the least bulking agents like flour.
