Kiddies passports
My son has had his own passport since he was 6 months old, now at 2 1/2 he's going away with his grandparents, given that he's changed dramatically and now is unrecognisable from the original photo is this an issue ?
Passport agency (now 90p a minute to call) says not & that the only concern is whether the passport has expired or not.
If the photo doesn't resemble him, how can Customs tell whether the passport belongs to him & whether the parents have given permission ?

Our 5 year old goes abroad relatively regularly with her picture at 6 months in the passport..unrecognisable as her now. Not a problem so far...if I was going to the USA I might be more concerned though as immigration take themselves pretty seriously over there these days.
