Road Angel PROBLEM????
Had the RA for over 1 year now
Had a boost gauge fitted(next to RA) and now the RA will not work?
Is there anything inside the boost guage that will cause interference with the RA?
Over the last week or so the RA has frozen at a speed( ie 30 23 40 etc) but now it just stays blank( - - -)
Anyone have any ideas?

Try plugging it into the mains adpater and leaving it in line of site of the sky (but not in the car) to see if it will pick up a signal within 15 mins or so. If it does then leave it on for a few hours to charge the internal battery. If it doesn't pick up anything then the unit may be faulty.
They do say that the unit can take up to 15 mins to aquire satellites if the unit has been switched off for some time, OR the internal battery hasn't charged enough to remember the satellite positions for the next time it is turned on.
I find that mine can take a while if it has been switched off for a while, especially if I am on the move whilst it is trying to re-aquire satellites.
If you can get a fix outside the car, then try back inside the car again (once it has been given time to charge). If it can't find a signal again then it maybe the boost guage is interfering.
