Angry Kill Bill DVD

Can anyone tell me if there's supposed to be an inlay card inside?

Bought it from sainsbury's without an inlay card, and when I took it back they told me there wasn't one - only I think they lied, cos they didnt want to give me a refund or they couldnt be arsed looking for one.

A friend bought a sealed copy from Blockbuster the other day and it didn't include any inlays (they might seal on the premises, but I doubt they'd nick all the inlays would they?)

Got a Japanese R2 copy on the way so it will be interesting to see what's in my box.
Ordered the Jap version as it has the last fight scene in colour. It was good but just missing something in B&W.

I enjoyed the film but expect far more from number 2.

Just bought my copy from CD-WOW (£12.99 BTW) - I'll see if there is an inlay card in mine.

Saw it in the cinema. Thought it was not bad but nothing special - the anime/cartoon scenes were annoying.

Give me Pulp Fiction any day!

Simon.

I think miramax need a new arsehole ripping - cheapskates!

Nowhere near as good as pulp fiction - although I can't get that whistle out of my head!

fight scenes a bit poor - and the amount of blood gets boring after a while.

Lucy Liu's "ethnic origin" speil is quite amusing though

Why are ppl comparing it to pulp fiction :S Its in a completely different genre, its a revenge film not a gangster film! The only similarity between the 2 is the back n forward thru time, scene shift traits of Tarantino. PF is better though heh.

Cool Got mine from HMV

Came with a Starsky & Hutch / The Osbournes / Scary Movie 3 DVD Leaflet,

3 Promotional Postcards - with pictures and quotes:

O-Ren Ishii: "Silly Caucasian girl likes to play with Samurai swords"

Elle Driver: "Dying in your sleep is a luxury our kind is rarely afforded. My gift to you"

The Bride: "Those of you lucky enough to still have your lives. Take them with you. But leave the limbs you've lost. They belong to me now." Class

Free entry into a prize draw to win a Cinema System or a years supply of Asahi beer.

Oh - and best of all (apart from the film!) - a free metal "***** Wagon" Keyring - just like the one in the film! Not bad! (Paid £14.99 on pre-order - not the cheapest place, but not bad)

Possibly due to the fact that its 1 of only 4 Tarantino films and everyone is praising KB like its his best.

Simon.
