Smile Sandwich fillings

Hi guy

I take it most of us work in an office and bring a sandwich most days to work a part from the few that are over paid and have a pub lunch everyday (I bet you're fat ) but Im getting bored of my fillings.
Please give me some ideas:
simple ones. Dont want to spend hours making it.

Thanks

Ray

Chop a red onion. Grate some cheese (anything you like). Mix together with mayo, and you've got a cheese & onion topping.

Can't go wrong with cheese & ham, but with some nice pickle to liven it up.

What kind of things do you guys have for your evening meal?
If you make pasta make a little bit extra and put some in a plastic container for the next day. (Save some of those plastic tubs you get from take aways)
Have it cold like pasta salad with a few cherry toms or salad stuff.
Or if you've got a microwave at work you could heat it up.
You can get lovely ready pasta pots from tesco.

If you like tuna John West make some tasty Tuna Light Lunch packs.

What about pitta bread with some Houmus (spelling???) or Tatziki and some salad.

Have you got a toastie machine? You could blast your cheese sarnie in there for a change.

I've just made Mr.Scoobyprezas sanries...
He's having roast turkey slices on some nice soft long deli rolls.
He had chicken tikka peices from tesco the other day. Stinks but he likes it.

Have a look at the sandwiches in marks and spencer for some ideas and then make them yourself when you fancy a change.

Go to the PUB you feckin cheapskates. The pub beside us is only £2.50 for fish, chips and peas, steak pie, or roast beef etc (whatevers on the board that day).

A sandwich from bp or shell garage is £1.99 and tastes ****.

Then after lunch go and scoobynet and gently fall asleep at desk due to pint of stella and steak pie.

And of course I am feckin overweight (but it breaks the day up to get out the office)

True but I make my own sarnie every day. This week I've been baking a cibatta roll each day and making a sarnie fresh every morning. Lovely

LOL I used to love stick any sort of crisp in a sandwich. That satisfying crunch as you take a bite. Gotta be done just before eating or get a tad soggy.

Thing I find with sangers is you have to keep em chilled otherwise they just go manky if left for a few hours. Asda do a load of ready meals for around 88p. I had cottage pie tonight (working lates) and it was actually pretty tasty.

Simon.
