Have you got house insurance (buildings and/or contents)? If so, many insurers now include a Legal Helpline and/or Legal Assistance facility - well worth checking your policy to see if you've got it.

If not I can recommend a superb Employment Lawyer (who also chairs Employment Tribunals). But he's based in East Anglia so he's not in your area (not necessarily a problem) - he's also fairly expensive (approx £150/hour IIRC)... but well worth it.

But don't forget that if he (or any other solicitor for that matter) wins your case for you, your costs will normally paid by the other side.
