With animals like this about no one is safe on the roads 6 years is an insult to the blokes family
Just another case of how crap this country's justice system is.

Here is a quote from that report:
Shortly after his death, Mr Little's partner, Sue Norman, said: "His action in pulling his lorry on to the hard shoulder to spare further injury to other drivers demonstrate how seriously he took his job, and his sheer courage and professionalism in extremity."
A friend of mine knew this man and his family and it was said to them, if he hadn't have steered his lorry onto the hard shoulder he might have survived. This is because no-one came to his aid very quickly in this position, a lorry in the middle of the motorway on the other hand.....
A very sad state of affairs, what on earth can posess somebody to do something like this. Criminals like this really need to see the consequences on all parties involved for a loved one to die in this manner. Might wake them up to life.

"It was the first time a successful prosecution had been brought in England after a killer was traced through a relative's DNA profile."
That's interesting, never heard of that before.

Can't undersatand why he can deliberately throw bricks onto the motorway at vehicles and get away with a charge of manslaughter. Anyone doing something like that must be carrying out a deliberate act with the object of causing serious damage and injury. The charge of manslaughter doesn't seem to fit somehow.
Don't know whether it is really the fault of the justice system or is it the judge who has given a comparatively light sentence when he could have made it heavier. Maybe the penalty could have been much greater but the judge was not prepared to make it so. We need an expert to tell us what kind of sentence could have been passed under the law as it is. You can provide the necessary sentence in law but you can't necessarily legislate for the administrator.

i think the poor sod needs a holiday, some new trainers and another hair do...
Well, thats what he'll prolly get.
He looks like an obnoxious ****, just from his picture, the kind you'd want to punch all round the pub, and then all round the carpark for good measure.
I'm sure his 'arris will be reamed by Mr Big in the showers, fear not.
