The cheapest I've seen & his feedback looks good. I must admit I wouldn't spend >£300 on ebay though.

Ebay is perfectly ok,providing you know the product,do your research and communicate with the seller

dba.. i know someone else off SN thats just bought one from him.. i will be after 'my friend' has tested it out for me.

ebay has had some bad press in our local Nottm Evening Post.. with ppl send cheques etc to companies and individuals and cheque gets cashed and no goods are sent.. then theres no way of getting in touch with the 'seller'.
you takes your chance?

PLEASE NOTE: from March 2004 onwards, if your Origin b2 was purchased from a non authorised dealer the guarantee period is 28 days from date of purchase.

thsi is what is asked him

there is a note on the Origin website saying that unless the Blue2 is
bought from an approved source the product will be covered by their
warranty

are you an approved source?

cheers

Dave

this is what he replied

Origin are not happy about discounts on the product. But as you know
European law states that price fixing is not allowed, so they are trying
anything to discredit those that are competitive on price. Your best bet
is to talk to trading standards and they will put your mind at rest
about the subject.

and included in his reply was an auto sig that included his phone n.os and his home addy. What he says adds up imo,Origin maybe trying to discredit sellers like him by reducing warrantys for non-approved dealer purchases

Right, got home from work & read instructions, logged on to http://www.originb2.com clicked on myb2, entered my serial number, address etc and it registered fine (or you can do it via slow mail, see attached pic). You get 6 months included as part of the purchase price.
I will be figuring it all out tonight and probably do a install at the weekend.
All in all a very good deal I think.

Hi guys,
Sorry to hijack this but.........

We currently have these at £369.99 but for anyone from SN we can do them for £350 inc.p&p.
They have FULL warranty from Origin and are available for next day delivery if ordered before 3.30 pm.
Further details can be found on our site (which is just about finished!!) www.alpha-telecom.co.uk

Before anyone complains, I've paid for a banner ad!

Salsa King, you have GOT to have a jammer with that kit, otherwise mobile units CAN & WILL still be able to get you, having a laser detector will not save you!
