HAHA - new Egg tv advert - Scotsman selling Wembley turf to English
HOHO
New Egg advert on tv tonight. Shows a Scots farmer cutting up turf from his field, and saying he sells it online for £200 per sq/ft to the English saying it's turf from Wembley ("how would anyone know the difference!").
He goes on to spray a white line on it, and says he gets £500 per sq/ft for it
"I'm not a con-man, I'm a business-man".
Quite! How that makes you want to trust your finances with Egg, I'm not quite sure....

Egg have certainly had egg over the faces over the last few years....certainly not much better than many banks IMHO.
Financial institutions are not in business to be your friends, and Egg is no different from any other. I'm sure the company's internal brainwashing has made you think otherwise, but "trust" and "financial institutions" are not words I ever associate
