Default Does anyone buy wholesale then re-sell

Have been looking at a few ideas now I have some spare time on my hands!

Just wondered if anyone has joined a similar wholesale link website - any good / bad experiences???

Any good / bad site recommendations?

ok mate ile do you 4 of those video cameras "samsung 5000i" for £500 each. cheapest you can get them for at the minute is £650 that i have found, you should make a tidy profit on them. ile fully guarentee them as well.

I might even do you a few of those head units cheaper as well. wondered if this is what you were upto.

£150 profit on a £650 outlay - hmmmn, was thinking bigger profit margins than that!

I like the idea of a nice 700% profit!

ok i cant stretch to that, but im expecting someone to be having 10 units soon, if he does ile bring the price down. maybe £25 per unit for you. so it would be £475.

ile do the headunits for minimum price £155 inc delivery. im making £5 on those. as many as you want inc disc changers.

Surely 4x£500 is a £2,000 outlay.

Just because the cheapest elsewhere to buy is £650 a piece doesn't mean that's the sell price ceiling either so it won't necessarily mean £650x4 = £2,600 for a £2,000 outlay, it may be more.

You have to remember that usually the prices are only quoted because of quantity.

I see you've amended it but still not took into account J4mou offered 4 at £500 a piece and not 1.

£14.99 for links?

**** that. Do a bit of searching and you can find decent wholeasale sites for nowt.

Or, a few of us could club in, get the membership and then supply the links to each other and sell them on????????>>>>>>

yep most of the wholesale stuff on the web is a list of addresses of wholesale suppliers so you are just paying for information which like was said you could find by searching, Ive got a list somewhere of UK wholesalers from the dim and distant past will see if I can find it. I dont think the margins are as great as they would have you believe.

I have the 'buy it now' on items that are in demand and always shift. I stick them on @ a 110% mark-up and sit back and let people buy them

I take my chance with some other stuff but it generally goes for 50% - 150% profit.

Wink

I had a 'wealth creation' mailshot through the post the other day from a bloke who's willing to sell the secrets of his success.

Turns out it's on-line auctions (no suprises there - lots of people are making tidy money). He then says that to make this work you need to source and buy your goods (no suggestions on what or how) much cheaper than you plan to sell it for. WTF?!!? No ****, Sherlock - what a great idea!

Cheers
Kav
