Question Wiring Money

Can anyone tell me if this is safe and where I stand if things go wrong?

Say for instance I purchase something that requires sending through the post and it never arrives. Will I just be left out of pocket?

Cheers

Where are you wanting to wire money to?

I've wired money from my UK account to my Canadian account and vice versa and never had a problem. Never done it to an individual though.

You'd want to talk to the bank and ask them what happens, my guess is that they'll say they will gaurentee the funds get there.

Using a credit card might be better in this respect, as if the goods don't turn up you can get the credid card company to get medieval on the culprits ***.

Talking

Markus.

It's just to an individual that I don't even know. Seems too risky to me. That's why I thought i'd ask for advice. As for Credit cards.... Haven't got one and never want one!

Ive done it to the states using western union before

Requires a certain amount of trust- and ive heard horror stories, but its the same with anything- sometimes things go wrong.
