For the third time today, my house has experienced a power cut.

On the first and second occassions, I wasn't overly bothered, and I was assured that the fault was identified and being repaired.

Now some 5 hours later, the damn power has went again, only this time right in the middle of making dinner!

So, now, not only do I have no heating, no light, and a freezer full of deteriorating food, but also a family dinner is now in the bin!

And what are Scottish Power's attitude??

"Until it has been off for 18 hours we won't offer any compensation"......

I politely asked if the workies were going to come round and feed my family after they finish playing with their roadworks and power cables, however, she "couldn't comment on that" !!!!!

A$$holes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
