I know quite a few peeps on here use ebay quite a lot so......

I have recently sold an item on ebay, however since selling the item (1 1/2 days ago ) I have had no response from the buyer, I have sent him an invoice and a mail.. still no contact from him...

How long do I leave it until I start to think I have been made a fool of..!!

personally i dont worry until 3-4 days have passed, as they may only have infrequent access to the net.

Quite right. eBay specifies that the buyer should make contact within 3 days of the auction closing.

Hmmm, I won something on ebay a few days ago, the seller still hasnt sent me an invoice including postage, and I am NOT paying until I recieve the invoice, and I have tried emailing him through ebay as well as private

Ebay cannot email them, as there is a problem with their address, and I cant email them as it keeps bouncing back (not undelivering, more host unknown, message delayed etc)

If I get bad feedback, he will get slaughtered
