Woo-hoo best mistake I've made!
Been playing a little poker today and went onto my usual $101:1 holdem no limit tourney table. After a while of playing I realised I'd lost about 6 games in a row putting me $76 down It was mostly just bad luck and being drawn on but one of the players was quite good.
I came off the table to compose myself and fired back on where I won 4 games in a row. It was only on the 4th win that I realised it said, 'crediting $40 to your account' Huh?? I then realised that I'd accidently gone onto a $20 table and my winning took me back to where I was to start Ironically the higher stakes table was easier to beat because the players were better. The hardest players to play are ones that are utterly crap or amazing. You make your money from good players that you are slightly better than

LOL @ Mugs game. Thats what all the wannabe good players say
ts a great game but by god can it be cruel from time to time. My brother made the final table at the Maybury last night (live play not online) and was seated beside the Scottish Poker champ. My bro gets AJh and calls an 'all in' by a known 'maniac' sure enough the nutter had J6o so my bro is heads up, all in and 76% favourite pre-flop. The flop comes A,9,4 with two spades. At this point my brother having hit top pair is 98% likely to win the hand. The turn and river are BOTH spades and with four of them on the board the nutter makes his flush with the jack and puts my brother out. If my brother had won the hand which he was statistically very likely to do he'd be miles ahead and pretty much certain to be in the money - min £400 for £30 investment. He's been pretty fragile all day!!!!! Poker IS a skill game and not one of luck but that doesn't mean you can't get horrifically unlucky from time to time

I dont bet coz Im thick, I struggle playing snap!
But my brother does though. He took me to a casino where he was playing cards,(dont know what game). But there where three or four people playing against the dealer.
To my amazement people where betting on his hand from behind him.
Is this normal?
May be a coincidence but all the people doing this were Chineese, and not worried about playing with big money.

Last time I was in a casino my mate had lost most of his money, in fact he was down to his last chip (£2). He said f*ck it and stuck it on 26 on the roulette table. "Neil why 26" "because i'm 26" "your not, your 28" lucky Tw@t the ball drops onto 26
