Default Relocation Relocation

Is this not the most annoying programme on telly ?

"This is Jacinta and Andre, they are looking for a Country Retreat in the home counties and a Crash pad in London, they have ninety million quid to spend but both look like a pair of wet farts and she is a right miserable bitch"

"We have found several propoerties that the fussy F*ckers have looked at in depth but havent made a decision, The Scary Dark bird and me are getting well pissed off with the smug dinkies and I think we will kill and eat them"

Then, miserable cow decides the 44th place in the country is wonderful as it has a big shed which will become a "Pottery Studio", ARRRRGGHHHHH F*CK OFF YOU SMUG MIDDLE CLASS ****, SHEDS ARE FOR MOWERS BIKES AND COMPOST AND NOBODY WANTS YOUR SAD LITTLE POTS YOU TOSSER.

ANyone else feel as strongly as me, though I posted earlier but the Stella is getting to me.

Sorry, no its not, Grand Designs is,

and I quote,

"When she comes home from running her busy Organic Food Business"

"They wanted to create a space"

What the F*ck does that mean, build a house its difficult not to create a "space"

Always (apart from the ones in the old waterworks, proper grafters those two) Tossers, tossers with imagination granted but why are they always so annoying and why is there never a pool or a mega Cinema with Dolby Digital and a massive big fridge, always spaces for contemplation, what do they contemplate ? why they spunked half a million quid on a drafty barn with fancy lights ?

If I ever get on it and he asks me what this room is for, I am going to say, Contemplation, reflection and wanking !

I love "Relocation, Relocation"; but I must admit the sad computer games programmer and the divvy "wears the underpants" bitch he was with were a right PITA.

How can you base the purchase of your entire house on whether your home cinema will fit. I mean, COME ON!!!, get your priorities right.

And your missis will RUIN you, if you don't give her a good backhander every once in a while jk.

You have to tip your hat to tonights bloke on GD who went for computer controlled lights and a central MP3 (I guess) system which can play tunes in any room of the house

And he also had a stonking great plasma screen hidden behind the painting (and a massive fridge in the kitchen (it was just in the draws rather than a free standing one))

I do sense a lot of envy and jealousy on this thread too. I would love to be in the position to put together a house like the one featured on Grand Designs last night.

I find the bird who presents it faintly attractive. Sometimes I imagine her staring up from my crotch area, whilst dribbling a little from her mouth........dirty b1tch.

Hence the name of the programme. The show does not aim to show dull people building dull 4 bed villas otherwise it would be called "Dull Designs".

Good on them for doing something different. Enlighten yourself

Personally, while I admired last nights Grand Design, it had too much of a Tenko look - ie, prison camp & watchtower!

LMAO at Matt. I know what you mean..Don't know what it is about her.

Weren't that Relocation couple annoying last night? What did they do for a living? I'm assuming it was all "Daddy's Money" paying for the properties.

he is managing director of an engineering company, and she's a freelance marketing consultant. a mortgage from his salary was to pay the main house in dorset, and the sale of her london flat was to pay for the flat. so no, it's not daddy's money at all.

Ahem, I remember these two. A particularly vacuous couple as I recall. I think you will find that the company of which he is a director is in fact 'daddy's'. So, not much merit there then.

And as for 'freelance marketing consultant'. That's a bull**** job title if ever there was one. Read bimbo baby making machine.

Why, are you thinking of applying for a job? With managment of his calibre it won't be long before it goes to the wall.

no, i'm wondering whether it really is his dad's company (if so you would have to know the name of it), or whether you're just speculating/assuming

No, it's just that I remember that from when I saw the programme. Last night was a repeat. Something didn't seem to add up about the amount of apparent wealth they had. There was a reference to it being a family owned company in there somewhere.

no there wasnt i was looking for a reference like that too and there definitely wasn't.

the amount of wealth they had seemed fine:

* his salary was going to pay a circa 350k mortgage (seems right for an md)
* her flat sale was going to pay for the 150k flat (seems right too)

nothing seemed wrong at all (what were you thinking didnt add up?) - they've just done well for themselves.

sure there's a chance there could be something dodgy, but nothing was said or even implied in the show.

He was far to too dozy to be a 'company director' on merit alone. I can't proove it, but I just remember it was the case that it was his father's company ...honest.....

Seriously, could you imagine him running an engineering company. Equally could you imagine her being a 'consultant' in any capacity?

actually.. yes.. kind of. they were both quite passive as people.. and both seemed like "people persons". passive people can get on well... as nobody deems them to be a threat, when actually they've VERY competent. further i thought they seemed like quite nice people.

yes they seemed "dozy" in a way.. but they could equally just have that way about them (it IS a style). nothing's to say he doesnt have a 1st class honors degree in engineering, is an absolute genious and knows EXACTLY how to market his company / product. in fact, id stick my neck out and say that probably is the case. the other possibility is that he started the company himself of course (a la most software houses in the IT world).

not all young people have to be hard-faced *******s in order to be a managing director or to earn circa 100k/year
