SIAL = Scooby in a lake. The saying came from several posts where people put up a photo of an Impreza which had gone through a thick layer of ice covering a lake. It's now used to highlight a (potentialy) done-to-death topic.

It's used tongue in cheek and (usually) good humoured in nature.
