Its a misconception that women are weaker emotionally than men, ive always found woman handle break ups far better than blokes (in most cases).
Did she have someone to move onto The1? seems to be a common thing these days where women do the old monkey swing, dont let go of one branch till they've got a firm grip of another.

Dont get me wrong, I love woman, awesome things, best and worst things imaginable, just a few home truths, seems very few relationships last, its a lot more about getting what you want now, and its become almost impossible to settle down.

On the surface It would look like I have been played fair and simple and that she said what she needed too, to make me think we had a connection on a different level. I didn't think this was the case so I responded as I tend to wear my Heart on my sleeve. I don't believe in not being yourself with someone and it would appear that she was at least honest enough to do the same in return. Trouble was I said one wrong sentence about me after about 12 Pints and she closed up to me Only wish I had said the sentence before I told her all of my embarrassing secrets and not heard any of hers.
The problem is that I now have to see her most of the time due to working the same office. It was cringingly embarrassing for me when we last bumped into each other. People have already started to smile at me in a funny way when they are huddled in a group at the coffee machine. I don't think she has betrayed my confidence in her, just word has got round that I have been a bit of a plonka. I think she has taken this distancing approach as I came very close to something that is still very emotionally raw for her and she would rather leave it buried in the past, just like where I should of left my past. You live and learn.

It sounds like you need some time on your own, to sort yourself out a bit. There's nothing wrong with being single for a while as it'll make you stronger. Just concentrate on yourself 100%. I know it's old advice but it's the best thing to do.

Nasty lesson learned - NEVER DATE SOMONE YOU WORK WITH

A couple of years ago I started seeing the sweet nice quiet girl at work. Of course in reality she turned out to be a f**ing nutter. Big lesson learned!

The rumors and back-chat that happen when you're seeing someone at work always mean its doomed to failure.
