IIRC it's about £110 per day for the training.
Depends how good you are as to how long you will need
You will also need to pass the theory test first though, and i think they've brought in a hazard perception test now?
Then there's the practical test fee which is about £75-£80.
Not cheap!.

AFAICR it costs us about £1,000 to put a driver through it. if they fail loads of times then the cost goes up rapidly. I think the record in our firm is seven attempts before passing, but these days it's more like three strikes and you're out

I did my class 2 before christmas and class 1 last week (failed that )
You have to do a multiple choice theory test, and a hazard perception test. This will set you back £35. (If u want the theory book and CD ROM for hazard perception let me know.)
You also need to have a medical at your doctors - this takes about 15 mins and costs about £70
Then there are the con artists to deal with (DVLA) About £20 to get another catergorry put on your license.
I paid just short of £800 for a 3 day course (mon, tue, wed morning, test on wed afternoon) This included the test fee and an assesment taken a few weeks before - basically driving around for an hour and they will tell you how many lessons you need)
Hope this helps,
Matt
