Talking Raleigh Choppers are back on sale

They've been relaunched today. I can't see kids wanting one in prefence to a full suspension mountain bike though, specially at a cost of £200.

But, all you guys that were waxing lyrical about them recently can rush out and buy one now.

The gear change has had to be put on the handlebars now due to new EC regulations.

In my opinion, that almost spoils the whole thing...

glad I'm not the only sad one!

p.s. you can tell by the curved recess in the tank that it was from an early model Suffolk Punch where the tank was mounted to the engine. Later models had the tank mounted on the handle bars!

Canna beat walkin about with a limp after having an interphase between man bits and gearchange They must surely have changed the steering ratio s well cos they used to be the most unstable thing ever,

I can see it now; Chopper, slammed, pearl to flame custom paintwork, 20x2.125 rear, Prodrive Vasectomy-Shift fitted, quick rack....

Nah, they'll be rubbish like everything made safe and sterile due to some ridiculous legislation, I can remember when it were all fields........
