Call Centre Music
Rang a Co this morning & was left on hold with:
Teenage Kicks (The proper version)
Going Underground
Layla
We could be heros
We don't need no education
Normally I'd have hung up, but this left me hanging on for 14 minutes & I was upset when they answered.
Who needs "dial a disc" ? I'll ring back at lunchtime when there's bound to be long waiting time.
Any other recommended groovy numbers to call ?

Most of the hold music is sh1te, however, I write music for alot of different commercial avenues and always thought that this would be a great market to get into - GOOD hold-music..... the same for lifts, shops etc, where normally, you'd have to constantly pay out (alot!) for the license on CD stuff. My stuff would be a one-off fee, or even freshly written original pieces...... hmmmm.

I've been playing the guitar since 1991. I've been busy playing in bands since I was 17 (25 now) and I've done a fair amount of session work.
I've got my own home good quality PC-based recording set up.
