There was a double arson (houses - two different properties but apparently connected incidents) in our area last week. The police were appealing for info in the local papers.
I've got info (and i reckon it's potentially very good) so i ring them up on Friday afternoon and i get the CID answerphone...and i haven't had a visit or even my call returned yet (Sat eve).

We had similar thing last Summer. They sent two total plonkers, who seemed to be aged about 12, who ignored a passing taxi driver with video evidence of a possible perpetrator and went off on a doomed search on their own. Needless to say no-one was ever caught.

There always seem to be plenty of experienced traffic cops in well-equiped cars picking off harmless motorists a few mph over the limit though ...

It's now Monday morning and still no contact, but yesterday was a crime free day!

It must have been because there were enough spare coppers around to stop us and measure the size of our numberplates on our Trail bikes...Fckn incredible - numberplate size more important than double arson!
